- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Visiting Elk Island is always very exciting. The quiet of the land and lakes makes for wonderful reflection. I am excited to drive the Bison Loop and often, (not always) encounter bison grazing. We have seen as few as one bison and other times scores roaming in the park. There are beaver dams and coyote to be seen here too. Wonderful trip for families with Picnic areas.By Lee W, August 19, 2016
